28th June 2019

This week in maths we have been learning about 2D shapes, we have learnt that a shape with 8 sides is an octagon (Jude), a heptagon has 7 sides (Maiya), there are many different types of triangles (Alice) and there is no such thing as a ‘normal’ triangle (Patrik).

In English, this week we have been describing settings and characters for our own stories based on a deserted island. This covers the first part (beginning) of our stories and we are going to be working on the plot (middle) and solving a problem (ending) next week.

We have been working really hard, practising our songs for the sing upĀ  at the Bedford Corn Exchange on Wednesday and we hope that you all enjoy it.

Today we had a special visitor, Mrs Cope, the new year four teacher spent some time with us as well as with Hawks and we look forward to welcoming her back for transition day.
