Home Learning

Friday, June 5, 2020

I have enjoyed looking through the home learning that I have been sent this week. I hope you are all enjoying the book The Railway Children.

I will not be putting up any photos of work on the blog. However, if you get up to or do anything exiting that you have a photo of that you would like to share then by all means send them through to me.

All of the learning for the next week will be available on the home learning tab from Friday lunchtime. If anyone would like copies of the learning printed off then please drop me an email and I will leave this for you in the school office ready to collect from Monday morning.

I really do miss you all but I hope that you are staying safe.

More work from last week

Tuesday, May 19, 2020

A quiet week from you all last week with only a handful of work being sent to me. I am sorry some of the pictures are not coming out the right way up.

Phoebe has worked on lots of things including synonyms, spellings, The Romans, perimeters, story writing and has also been a scientist and completed an experiment with a write up.

Not only has Amy been completing school work she has also been learning new skills.

Jacob A has been busy with lots of different activities this week including pizza making and  potato printing, as well as plenty of school work. (He worked out after printing that his potato image needed to be reverse so looked at his print in a mirror).

Setting description

Monday, May 18, 2020

When writing a setting description this week use this picture of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, don’t forget to use your senses when you write. Make sure your writing flows and that you don’t use ‘I can see/hear…’

Friday, May 1, 2020

Wow!! I have been inundated with work from children this week. I have seen some great pieces of writing and some wonderful maths work. Please keep sending your work in so I can keep an eye on what you are doing and provide feedback.

Some of you have also embraced the Romans learning and have sent me some amazing pieces of home learning. Please see examples of the work I have received this week.
