The children helped us to act out the story, carefully looking out for the Wolf and calling for the Woodcutter to frighten him away. We asked the Wolf why he was so mean and it turned out he was just hungry. After he promised to be nice Grandma introduced all the children to him as their book characters and they each offered him something good to eat. We had a lovely day!
