Safeguarding

At St Lawrence we take our responsibilities to safeguard children very seriously.  We are committed to ensuring that all our children and young people feel safe; that children, parents/carers and staff are able to talk about safeguarding concerns and feel assured that they will be listened to; and that all staff are aware of, and implement safeguarding procedures and guidance including what to do if they suspect a child or young person may be experiencing, or be at risk of harm.  The welfare of our pupils is paramount.

Domestic Abuse Notification Scheme

Please find below letter to parents regarding the Domestic Abuse Notification Scheme (DANS).  The scheme acts as a school notification service where incidents of domestic abuse have been reported in the previous 24 hours to Bedfordshire Police from households where children reside and are on the school roll.
