Year 3/4 - Frontier Centre

The children go on their first residential visit in the summer months of Year 3 or Year 4.  They visit the Frontier Centre in Irthlingborough.  The centre is set in our local area in the heart of England and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The centre has 122 acres of young-woodland, a river and lake for water sports and open grounds with stunning views across Stanwick Lakes nature reserve along the picturesque Nene Valley. The children take part in a range of instructed activities including: climbing, kayaking, archery and fencing.

For many children, this is the first significant time they’ve spent away from home, but by the end of their school residential adventure trip, their confidence has grown massively.
