Year 6 - Yorkshire Dales

Year 6 visit the Yorkshire Dales in their final term of primary school.  This residential visit gives the children the opportunity to develop and apply the skills they have acquired on the earlier residential within the beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside.  Whether it be gorge scrambling, caving, wild swimming or climbing a mountain, the children achieve a sense of accomplishment in every activity they take part in.  Pupils’ self-development is apparent throughout the trip as they discover new interests and disciplines and the teamwork of the adventures builds on the citizenship aspect of the National Curriculum.
