We seek lots of opportunities for our children to access extracurricular activities across the school.  At St Lawrence, The children enjoy learning the steel pans as part of the Year 3/4 curriculum music.  They are then encouraged to take up instrumental lessons with the Bedford Borough Music Co-op and their fabulous teaching staff. We offer piano and violin lessons at present.  We also have a school choir who attend 'Young Voices' in Birmingham every other year - singing with over six thousand other children from across the country! 

Throughout the school year there are opportunities to perform.  These include music concerts and end of term performances such as nativities at Christmas and our Year 6 Leavers play.  The children also perform as part of our end of term services in the church, singing and sharing poems.

We have a Musical Theatre club who meet weekly and work with R&D teachers to create and perform shows.
